The People

Robby Holland, M.D.

Attorney

For more than twenty years, Dr. Robby Holland has been the person people call on the worst day of their lives. He spent over a decade as an emergency physician and hospital leader before turning his focus to the courtroom. His career has always centered on helping people when everything is at risk.

In the ER, Dr. Holland cared for patients across North Texas and saw the lifelong impact of unsafe decisions, corporate negligence, and broken systems. He also saw how powerless families can feel when facing institutions with every advantage. That experience drove him to combine his medical training with the practice of law so he could stand up for people who need a strong advocate.

During his medical career, Dr. Holland was repeatedly honored for excellence in emergency medicine, being recognized in D Magazine’s list of Best Doctors in Collin County in 2015 and 2017, and Best Doctors in Dallas in 2017, 2019 and 2020. Colleagues trusted his calm leadership and clear communication in high-pressure situations. Patients trusted that he listened, told the truth, and treated them with dignity during frightening moments.

At Baylor Law School, he carried that same commitment forward. He graduated with honors, helped create new opportunities for plaintiff-side advocacy, and became a National Mock Trial Champion. His preparation, discipline, and clarity continue to define his work as a trial lawyer.

Today, Dr. Holland represents clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries, families who have lost loved ones, and people whose lives have been changed by preventable harm. His combined medical and legal training allows him to understand the medicine, challenge weak explanations, and make complex issues clear to jurors. Clients describe him as steady, present, and relentless, and he treats every case as personal.

Dr. Holland is admitted to practice in Texas and is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association for Justice.

Whether he is reviewing a medical timeline, preparing for trial, or sitting with a family in crisis, Dr. Holland brings the same calling that guided his work in the ER: to help people through their hardest moments, to fight for them, and to seek accountability from those who cause harm.
