Bryan Bustamante

Paralegal

With more than twenty-five years of experience as a paralegal, Bryan brings deep knowledge of litigation and a steady presence to every case. He began his career at seventeen and has since worked across multiple practice areas, including asbestos litigation, personal injury, property insurance defense, commercial litigation, and complex business disputes. For more than a decade, his primary focus has been intellectual property litigation, which he supported at Thompson & Knight and later at Holland & Knight. He also managed the firm’s trademark prosecution docket during his tenure in Dallas.

At the firm, he concentrates on intellectual property matters and provides support on employment litigation as needed. He manages our Nextpoint e-discovery databases, ensuring case teams have accurate and organized access to the documents they need. His work is largely behind the scenes, but it plays an essential role in how we prepare, plan, and move each matter forward.

His interest in the law began early, sparked by a high school project that introduced him to the intersection of politics and legal systems. He values the opportunity to serve clients by helping secure the best outcomes possible within a system he believes can work well when approached with diligence and integrity.

He is known for his strong organizational skills, his ability to manage multiple responsibilities, and his depth of experience across all stages of litigation and discovery. He also brings meaningful judgment to client screening and firm alignment considerations.
